Eige Wijzz - Kleine Kapitein

Welcome to Eige Wijzz – Kleine Kapitein, our small-scale toddler day-care located inside primary school De Kleine Kapitein at Bernhardstraat 2a in Bakel. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 in a homely, safe environment where every child is free to be themselves and develop at their own pace. Our group is horizontally structured: all children are in the same age bracket, so activities are perfectly tailored to the toddler’s world of experience. We follow the VVE curriculum ‘Uk & Puk’, playfully stimulating language, numeracy and social skills. Eige Wijzz’s professional pedagogical staff are a safe haven for both child and parent, creating a sense of security from the very first moment. Peuter Wijzz is open five mornings a week from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Extended care is available by arrangement from 7:00 a.m. and/or until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. During the morning the children enjoy a rich range of activities: arts & crafts, story time, singing, building and exploring in the bright, spacious group room and in the secure outdoor area of the school. Fruit, drinks and a healthy snack are included; accommodating allergies is second nature to us. We work closely with De Kleine Kapitein primary school. Whenever possible our themes align with those of the school, we use the playground together and organise joint outdoor activities.
