Peuteropvang 2Leeuweriken is a wonderful place for toddlers in the Mariahoeve district of The Hague. We provide care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years and prepare them for primary school in a playful way. Within Kindcentrum De Leeuwerikhoeve, we ensure a continuous line to the kindergarten class, so your child feels safe and confident when transitioning to primary education. We offer a morning group and an afternoon group. In both groups, we provide Early Childhood Education (ECE). Our activities focus on fun, discovery and learning through play. We pay a lot of attention to speech and language development, social-emotional development, motor development and sensory development. For example, by reading aloud frequently, your child builds a rich vocabulary in a playful way. Our location has a large playground where children can run, climb and explore to their heart's content. Inside there is a cozy home corner, a shop and a dressing-up corner, where children can let their imagination run wild. This play and learning environment stimulates your child's development in all areas. At 2Leeuweriken we work with dedicated pedagogical staff who see your child and utilize what is already present in him or her. We call this 'whispering talents to children': we help children discover their talents and consciously deal with the pitfalls that come with them. This way we look behind behavior and see the best in each other.
