KDV Duimelijn

KDV Duimelijn is a daycare centre located at Bloemstede 4 in Maarssen. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, home-like and safe environment. Our location includes a baby group and two vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart approach of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children the space to be themselves, to grow and to explore. At our centre, play is learning. We offer a rich environment with a wide range of stimulating play and development materials: from arts and crafts corners and doll areas to reading and picture books. Outdoors, there is plenty of room to play as well. We have a secure outdoor area with a sandbox, water track, bikes and ride-on cars. Sometimes we also use the outdoor area of the adjacent daycare, giving children even more opportunities to explore. KDV Duimelijn is a certified early childhood education (VE) location. We use the Uk & Puk method to prepare children for primary school in a playful way. We believe in a warm, involved approach where every child is seen and valued. Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register and is supervised by the GGD. We are part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens, an organisation that has been providing high-quality childcare in the region for many years.
