KDV Dorst Op Stoom

Welcome to KDV Dorst Op Stoom, located in a characteristic building at Cypressenstraat 11 in Dorst. We honor the original purpose of the building - a former toy factory. Here your child gets all the space, literally. We play freely indoors in our cozy and colorfully decorated spaces, outdoors on our playgrounds, and in 'our' wonderful nature playground Surea in the Seterse forest. We bring nature inside and take the children outside. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and cozy place where your child can develop optimally. There's always time and space for a cuddle, nice conversation, and we have endless patience. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers play and sleep separately from preschoolers, ensuring each child gets the attention they deserve. For the little ones we provide bottle feeding and of course (pumped) breast milk is also welcome. We provide diapers and ensure a peaceful sleeping environment, where outdoor sleeping is also possible in our special outdoor sleeping areas. Preschoolers enjoy whole grain sandwiches with toppings during lunch and receive healthy snacks like fruit, rice cakes or whole grain breakfast cake. We consciously handle nutrition and ensure balanced meals. Our location accommodates up to 48 children and has been officially registered since 2004. We offer preschool education (VVE) as a playful preparation for primary school. Leave your toys at home - there's plenty available for endless play fun!
