KDV Doerak

Welcome to KDV Doerak, our small-scale daycare center located in the heart of Luttenberg. We are housed in the former kindergarten building of primary school Esmoreit at Wispelweg 19. With a maximum of 16 childcare places, we provide a homely and safe environment where each child has the space to develop at their own pace. At KDV Doerak, we believe that children learn best by discovering and experiencing things themselves. We therefore work from a child-centered approach where we stimulate children's natural curiosity. Our permanent pedagogical staff create a warm and familiar atmosphere in which children feel safe to grow. We have plenty of space to explore together, both indoors and outdoors. Inside, children can play, chat, read and do crafts to their heart's content. While playing together, we pay a lot of attention to social skills, values and norms. We have a nice reading corner where we look at books and tell stories together. Crafts and creative activities are also on the program, allowing children to let their imagination run free. Outside, we make full use of our beautiful surroundings. We play on the large, green schoolyard and regularly visit the forest and amphitheater nearby. Playing in nature is very important to us. Children learn to discover the world around them and develop a natural wonder for all the beauty that nature has to offer. We regularly organize short excursions to these natural playgrounds. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a vertical group, where younger and older children play together and learn from each other. This setup naturally stimulates the development of both younger and older children. KDV Doerak is part of KOOS childcare. We work with a permanent team of dedicated pedagogical staff who work with great pleasure and dedication every day on the development of your child.
