Grosthuizer

Welcome to Grosthuizer, our daycare center in the heart of Avenhorn. Since May 1st 2025, we provide care for the youngest children in the familiar environment of the Grosthuizerschool. Our location at Grosthuizen 74 is open three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This allows you to benefit from lower costs without compromising on the quality of care your child deserves. Our baby specialists are ready to provide your child with the best care. We work with themes and offer activities that perfectly match each child's age and development. The youngest children from 0 to 4 years have a beautiful space with many discovery corners and a varied range of activities. The group is safely and cozily arranged, where we stimulate learning and growing through play in a familiar environment. Outside, children can play in our beautiful nature discovery garden. We believe it's important that children also get space outside to discover and play. Through collaboration with the Grosthuizerschool, we can use the spacious facilities and create a natural transition to primary education. At Grosthuizer, the development of each child is central. We emphasize independence and teach children to take responsibilities, while ensuring a familiar and pleasant atmosphere where they can be themselves. Your child gets the space to grow at their own pace, under the guidance of our experienced pedagogical staff.
