Welcome to Dikkertje Dap Peutergroep at Berkenlaan 106 in Zutphen. Our toddler group is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years and is part of Dikkertje Dap Childcare, a professional childcare organization with over 25 years of experience in providing care for children from 0 to 13 years. With us, everything revolves around your child's development in a safe, familiar environment. We work with a clear vision: the child is at the center. This means we align with the home routine and always prioritize your child's needs. Our pedagogical staff make every day a celebration together with the children. We start the morning with a joint circle where we sing, tell stories, and do activities related to the current theme. Think of themes like 'on the farm', 'traffic', 'my body' or 'going shopping'. Each theme includes books, songs, crafts, and outings that spark the children's curiosity. Our toddler group follows the VVE program Piramide. This program focuses on language development, social-emotional skills, and preparation for primary school. We provide a rich language environment and encourage children playfully to learn new words and use their imagination. We regularly go on trips: to the market, the petting zoo, or the park. Indoors, we organize creative activities such as crafting, singing, and cooking. Children learn playfully and at their own pace. We believe it's important for children to eat healthy and varied meals. Dikkertje Dap therefore follows the 'Healthy Childcare' program. We offer semi-skimmed milk, water, fresh fruit, and healthy snacks like breadsticks, yogurt, and vegetables. We eat together at the table and sing before meals. Upon request, you can provide a warm meal if your child is picked up after 5:30 PM. We naturally take allergies and dietary requirements into account. For sleeping, we have quiet bedrooms with beds and sleeping bags. We provide diapers and care products. You only need to bring a bag with spare clothes, a cuddly toy, or pacifier. Our outdoor playground is safe and challenging, with plenty of space to run, cycle, and play. We pay much attention to outdoor activities and teach children playfully how to interact with nature. At Dikkertje Dap Peutergroep, we work in horizontal groups, meaning children of the same age are together in a group. This promotes development and allows us to work specifically on skills appropriate for this life stage. We offer both half and full days of care, Monday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
