KDV De Zwanebloem

Welcome to KDV De Zwanebloem, located at Noppenstraat 92B in the heart of Zwaanshoek. Since April 1st 2025 we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a brand-new, fresh space specially designed for the very youngest. Our daycare is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Zwanebloem, so your child can seamlessly move on to the primary school in the same building. Play-based learning is at the heart of what we do. The toddler years are a time when children discover who they are and what they can do. That is why we offer a safe, challenging environment in which your child has room to grow. We work with horizontal groups, so your child is surrounded by peers and activities are tailored to his or her developmental level. Our pedagogical staff follow Early Childhood Education programmes to stimulate language development and other skills through play. The rooms are bright, spacious and include a separate sleeping room where children can rest quietly. The large garden borders directly on the school playground and offers plenty of opportunities to play outside and discover nature. We believe it is important for children to spend as much time outdoors as possible, so they can run, climb and explore what the seasons have to offer. KDV De Zwanebloem is an independent location with no parent or subsidiary companies. We work intensively with the primary school and after-school care in the same building. This means short lines of communication, one director and one pedagogical vision. You have one point of contact and your child does not have to cross the street when he or she starts school.
