Welcome to Daycare De Zonnestraaltjes, located in the heart of Nijmegen in the atmospheric neighborhood center De Burghardt at Burghardt van den Berghstraat 114. As part of the Kinderopvang Rijk van Nijmegen organization, we have been providing a warm and trusted childcare environment for children aged 0 to 4 years for over 25 years. Our location radiates a unique atmosphere, enhanced by the stylish interior featuring plenty of wood and natural materials that contribute to a homely and inviting environment. At De Zonnestraaltjes, we work from an anthroposophical pedagogical vision, where we place the child's development in its entirety at the center. Our experienced pedagogical staff provide children with space to discover, play and grow at their own pace. We have arranged two horizontal groups: a baby-toddler group for the youngest ones and a toddler group for toddlers and preschoolers. This arrangement ensures that each child receives the appropriate guidance and stimulation that matches their developmental stage. Our beautiful, spacious garden is a true playground where children can romp, discover and connect with nature daily. We believe it's important for children to play outside as much as possible and consciously experience the seasons. Additionally, we offer creative activities such as singing, painting and drawing, where we stimulate children's imagination and creativity. We also regularly bake organic bread rolls with the children, which is not only delicious but also a valuable learning experience. Your child's health and well-being is central to us. We serve only organic and planet-proof responsible food and drinks, carefully composed to contribute to healthy development. Our warm and caring approach ensures that your child feels completely at home with us. We work closely with parents to align upbringing as much as possible with the home situation and the individual needs of each child.
