De Zandkanjers

Welcome to daycare De Zandkanjers, located within primary school OBS De Zandloper at Cavaljéweg 29 in Stuifzand. Since September 2018 we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 205148955 and works closely with the school, enabling us to offer a continuous developmental line from 0 to 12 years. The day may start as early as 6:00 AM. Children dropped off before 7:30 AM can have breakfast at the table together with our pedagogical staff. Afterwards there is time for free play. Around 9:30 AM we sit together for a varied piece of fruit, while singing a song about healthy eating. During the fruit moment children can also choose a story time, singing or talking about the current theme. At 11:30 AM we tidy up together and set the table for the bread meal. From about one and a half years old we teach children to spread their own bread, assisted by our staff. After eating the youngest children go to bed, while the older children can play independently or join an activity. Around 3:00 PM we have a drink with a small snack such as a cracker, breadstick or slice of breakfast cake. Then we offer an activity. When weather permits we go outside as much as possible, so the children can explore the natural surroundings of Stuifzand. Throughout the day children are dropped off and picked up. Our staff ensure the group’s calm is not disturbed. We apply a minimum of 3 consecutive hours of care per day and at least 5 hours per week, calculated on the chosen contract (40, 48 or 52 weeks).
