KDV De Wielerbaan

KDV De Wielerbaan is located at the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Wielerbaan at Disselhoek 50 in Enschede. As a daycare center, we provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. We are part of Stichting Humankind, a national non-profit organization that provides professional childcare and development services. At KDV De Wielerbaan, we follow the Montessori pedagogy. Our motto is 'Help me to do it myself'. In a safe and familiar environment, children learn to make their own choices and determine their own pace. We provide our childcare in horizontal groups, where children of approximately the same age play and learn together. Pre-school education (VVE) is an important part of our daily program. We prepare children for primary school in a playful way. Language development receives extra attention in this process. For children aged 2 to 4, we also offer toddler care, where we work closely with the Montessori primary school located in the same building. Our opening hours are flexibly arranged. We provide care on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 to 12:30. On Tuesday, there is an option for care from 8:30 to 17:30. Additionally, we offer pre-school care from 7:30 to 8:30 on Monday through Thursday. KDV De Wielerbaan has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 649720416 since December 6, 2010. This allows parents to apply for childcare allowance. We are under the supervision of the GGD Twente.
