KDV De Waterwolf

KDV De Waterwolf is a small-scale daycare centre located at Kromme Spieringweg 436 in the heart of Vijfhuizen. We provide care for up to 13 toddlers in a homely and safe environment. Together with KDV ’t Wolfje, we form one childcare centre under the KDV Midas B.V. umbrella, each with its own space and identity. Our location has been officially registered since March 1, 2023, in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 192968154. We focus specifically on children aged 2 to 4 years, with a strong emphasis on nature-based learning and outdoor play. The large garden surrounding the building invites children to explore, play, and learn through direct interaction with nature — whether it’s digging holes, dragging branches, or building huts. We work in small, horizontal groups, ensuring individual attention for each child. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with consistent pedagogical staff who know the children well. Our approach is playful and development-oriented, without adhering to a strict formal curriculum. We believe in the power of free play, natural curiosity, and social interaction.
