KDV De Waterval

Welcome to KDV De Waterval, our bright and colourful daycare centre located at Belgiëlaan 2 in Beverwijk. We are part of Stichting Welschap Kinderopvang and provide care for up to 85 children from 0 to 4 years old. The centre is organised into seven groups: a quiet baby group for the youngest and vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. This allows toddlers to proudly help with babies and the little ones to learn from the older children. At De Waterval everything revolves around experience and discovery. We offer a rich daily programme in which music, arts & crafts, language and nature take centre stage. Our professional staff create new challenges every day: from singing with the guitar to mud kitchens in the garden and from reading aloud in the cosy corner to excursions to the forest or petting zoo. We believe children learn about the world through play and therefore stimulate their curiosity and independence. Our building is safe and clearly arranged. Each group has its own sleeping room with cots and beds so every child can rest when needed. The large garden invites running, cycling, sand play and water experiments. We provide everything young children need: nappies, wipes, bottle feeding, warm meals and healthy snacks. Parents do not need to bring anything. We value good communication with parents. You will hear how the day went and we are always open to questions or special requests. Together we ensure that every child feels safe, happy and challenged at De Waterval.
