Welcome to De Vuurvogel Daycare, part of the De Vuurvogel Child Center in the heart of Malden. Our small-scale daycare is located in a sustainable, brand-new building at Schoolstraat 23a, right in the green Kroonwijkpark. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment where each child gets the space to develop at their own pace. Nature is central to our approach. From our group rooms, children can walk straight into our spacious, natural outdoor garden. This green playground is specially designed for the youngest children, allowing them to safely explore, romp and experience adventures. We consciously use the outdoor space as an extension of our pedagogical approach: outdoor play stimulates motor development, imaginative play and discovering the world around us. Our daycare works closely with the toddler group and primary school under the same roof. This unique collaboration within the De Vuurvogel Child Center ensures a continuous line in your child's development. We regularly organize joint activities, making the transition to the toddler group and later to primary school run smoothly. Your child sees familiar faces and stays in a familiar environment. We offer various development-oriented activities, tailored to your child's age and interests. In our activity corners you'll find play materials that invite exploration and learning. From crafting with natural materials to language development games and singing - we stimulate development in all areas. For the very youngest we provide quiet sleeping areas and bottle feeding according to the home rhythm. For toddlers and preschoolers we serve healthy snacks and a bread meal. Our permanent pedagogical staff are ready to give your child the personal attention they deserve. Thanks to our small-scale setup, we know each child and can optimally respond to individual needs. We work with horizontal groups, where children of similar ages play and learn together. This provides peace and recognition for both children and parents.
