KDV De Vuurvogel, locatie Kinderboerderij

KDV De Vuurvogel, located at the petting zoo ’t Woelige Nest on Boterbloem 3 in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, offers anthroposophical daycare for up to 12 children aged 0–4 in one vertical group. Since July 2015 we have been housed in a wooden chalet behind the farm, where the children enjoy daily access to the large green playground and the animals—goats, chickens, rabbits and more. The natural setting and farm life provide a rich learning environment that sparks imagination and supports development in a calm, rhythmic way. We keep group sizes small, averaging five children per professional, ensuring plenty of individual attention. The chalet is furnished like a warm, homely living room with simple, natural-material toys that stimulate creativity. A clear daily rhythm and gentle pace help children feel secure, allowing them to play, sleep and eat in a relaxed manner. We are part of the Vrije School De Vuurvogel in Driebergen and share its anthroposophical vision, attuned to the young child’s developmental stage. Parents may register their child without obligation; we invite them for a tour as soon as a place becomes available.
