De Vrije Vogeltjes

Welcome to De Vrije Vogeltjes, our daycare centre at Blokkendijk 1 in the rural village of Zuna. We opened our doors on 26 May 2025 and provide full-day care five days a week for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. Set on a former farmyard, surrounded by meadows and next to the Elsenerbeek brook, the location offers children plenty of space to play, explore and develop in a safe, homely atmosphere. Nature is at the heart of our programme. Children help in the vegetable garden, feed the chickens and explore the grounds daily. When the weather is less inviting, play moves to our large covered playground: a spacious hall with sandpits, a traffic circuit and discovery corners that are always open. We work with small horizontal groups so every child receives the personal attention they deserve. A stable team of dedicated pedagogical staff ensures continuity and familiarity. We keep parents informed through a parent app and invite you to drop by every Monday between 19:00 and 20:00 for an informal visit.
