KDV De Vogeltuin

Located in a characteristic white building at Kanaalweg 1 in Heiloo, KDV De Vogeltuin is a day-care centre operated by Stichting Forte Kinderopvang. The facility has room for up to 57 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 2004 (LRK 120146320). Spacious group rooms are divided into separate baby and toddler groups, ensuring every age receives the right care and stimulation. A dedicated gym room offers extra opportunities for movement, while the large garden is an adventurous space where children can safely explore: narrow paths winding through greenery, a pole forest, a vegetable and flower garden, and plenty of birds spreading their wings. The nearby woods and GGZ grounds make short nature outings easy. Parents describe De Vogeltuin as a lovely place with a wide range of activities and caring, committed staff. The centre provides preschool education (VE), allowing children to pick up basic skills in a playful way before they start primary school.
