De Tuimelaar

Welcome to De Tuimelaar, an independent daycare centre located at Van Oldenbarneveldtstraat 13 in Arnhem. We provide care for up to 18 children aged 0 to 4 years in a small-scale, homely environment. Our goal is to give every child the space to develop at their own pace, with safety, security and personal attention at the heart of everything we do. At De Tuimelaar, we believe that children develop socially through interaction with their surroundings. Our childcare professionals guide this process by encouraging socially desirable behaviour and organising play that matches each child’s developmental level. For example, we place babies close together so they can see and touch each other, and we offer activities such as circle games, imaginative play and shared play with balls or other materials. We believe it is important for children to experience that contact with others is enjoyable. That’s why we create a warm and familiar environment where there is room for individuality and development. Our team consists of dedicated and experienced childcare staff who give each child the attention they deserve. De Tuimelaar is a recognised childcare facility under the supervision of Kind en Gezin. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30. Flexible care arrangements are available upon request.
