Welcome to Daycare De Toverhoed, located in the heart of the new residential area Groot Holthuizen in Zevenaar. Our beautiful, modern building at Bemlaan 1 offers a warm and safe environment for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. We are part of Stichting Humankind, a national organization that has been providing high-quality childcare with attention to every child for many years. At De Toverhoed, we believe in learning from each other. That’s why we work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and develop together. Each child is given the space to grow at their own pace, while learning from one another. Our experienced and dedicated pedagogical staff offer active and varied activities daily. Think of a toddler five-day program, the national outdoor play day, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together — every day is different! We believe it’s important for children to spend plenty of time outdoors. Every day, we go outside so they can play, explore, and move in our own garden or in the surrounding area. We also collaborate with primary school De Bem, allowing us to provide a smooth transition to primary education. Healthy nutrition is a priority for us. We provide fresh fruit and healthy snacks to ensure the children have the energy they need to play and grow. Daycare De Toverhoed is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We offer care for children aged 0 to 4 and are officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK), which means parents can apply for childcare allowance. Our goal is to work together with parents to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can develop to their full potential.
