KDV de Terp

KDV de Terp is located at De Campus 1 in the heart of Wieringerwerf and forms part of Kindcentrum De Terp, where education and childcare seamlessly come together. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two horizontal groups: a calm baby/toddler group and a preschool group. This structure gives your child the safety, cleanliness and regularity it needs and allows our pedagogical staff to fully attune activities to each age group’s developmental stage. Our pedagogical policy is built on the belief that every child is unique. We therefore offer individually focused care, in which your child has the right to develop at its own pace. We address every developmental domain: physical, social, emotional and intellectual. In our preschool group we use Early Childhood Education (VVE) together with themed activities and stories featuring our hand puppet Puk to stimulate language, social interaction and movement in a playful way. The premises provide spacious, welcoming group rooms, separate sleeping areas and a sheltered outdoor playground with equipment tailored to the world of young children. Thanks to the direct link with the child centre, our children also benefit from extra facilities such as a sports hall, nature garden and technology room, always adapted to their age and developmental phase.
