KDV De Talentjes

Peutergroep de Talentjes is a small-scale toddler care facility located in the heart of Haarlem-Noord. We provide care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a familiar environment that is fully tailored to the developmental needs of this age group. Our location is situated at Noormannenstraat 1, in the same building as primary school De Talenten, and we work closely with this school to ensure a smooth transition from toddler care to primary education. We operate with a horizontal group structure, where all toddlers aged 2-4 are cared for together in one group. This stimulates social development and provides younger toddlers with the opportunity to learn from older children. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding toddlers and provide a safe and challenging environment where children can develop through play. To create more equal opportunities, we work with pre- and early school education (VVE). This program specifically focuses on language development and school readiness for toddlers. Through thematic work and targeted activities, we prepare children for the next step in their development. The collaboration with primary school De Talenten ensures a good connection between our toddler care and primary education. Our location accommodates a maximum of 16 toddlers, allowing us to work on a small scale and provide individual attention to each child. We care for the toddlers in the same room where, later in the day, the after-school care children of De Talenten also spend their time, creating a familiar and homely atmosphere.
