De Stuurman

Daycare centre De Stuurman is part of Quadrant Kindercentra and is located in a unique place: the completely renovated and sustainable Health Centre De Stuurman at Oranjelaan 3 in Waddinxveen. Since 3 October 2024, we welcome up to 60 children aged 0 to 4 years here on a daily basis. The location is housed in a beautifully renovated historic school, providing an inspiring and safe environment for the very youngest. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. Our pedagogical team is ready to give every child the personal attention and care they need. Through collaboration with more than 15 care and welfare organisations in the same building – from GPs and physiotherapy to pharmacy and youth health care – we are literally surrounded by knowledge and expertise that supports the well-being of child and family. De Stuurman is a modern, sustainable location with room for rest, play and development. We offer both day care for babies and toddlers and morning toddler care. The group structure is flexible and tailored to the needs of the child and parents. Due to its central location in Waddinxveen, we are easily accessible and ideally suited for parents living or working in the region. At De Stuurman, we believe in 'together for the child'. We therefore work intensively with parents, carers and other partners in the youth chain to optimally support the development of every child. Our vision is that children develop best in a safe, familiar environment where they can be themselves and where there is room for discovery, play and growth.
