De Sterretjes

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Sterretjes, located at Andy Warholstraat 27 in Almere. Since 1978, we have provided warm, safe, and familiar daycare for children aged 0 to 3 years. Our daycare is licensed by Kind en Gezin for 41 childcare places and is part of the non-profit organization Kinder en Jeugdzorg. At De Sterretjes, we work with two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 2 years and a toddler group for children aged 2 to 3 years. In the baby group, your child receives the loving care and attention they need. We follow your child’s rhythm and offer small, playful, and varied activities such as singing songs, hand gesture games, crawling on soft rugs, and reading aloud. In the toddler group, children discover the world by doing and trying. They make their first friends and play in the construction corner with blocks and cars or help cook in the play kitchen. We stimulate their development on social, psycho-emotional, and motor levels through regular observation and tailored guidance. Our team consists of 8 childcare staff who are responsible for the children daily, supported by 1 staff member for maintenance and meals. We work closely with parents and provide pedagogical advice when needed. All staff participate in training to stay up to date with the latest developments in childcare. We provide warm meals and healthy snacks. Costs are based on an income-related fee and are partially tax-deductible.
