De Speeldoos

Kindercentrum de Speeldoos is located in the Kort Haarlem residential area in Gouda. Our spacious childcare center is not visible from the street, providing peace and privacy for your child. Your child is welcome from 8 weeks old and stays with us in a safe, familiar environment until their fourth birthday. We offer daycare for children aged 0-4 years and morning toddler care for children from 27 months to 4 years. Our location has 69 childcare places divided into horizontal groups: two baby/toddler groups and one preschool group. This small-scale setup ensures everyone knows each other and your child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our large, green garden is naturally designed and offers plenty of space to play and discover. Children can enjoy themselves here with challenging play equipment. Indoors, we have a play hall where children can play or do crafts to their heart's content. Additionally, we have a mini-library where we can quietly read a book with a small group of children that matches the theme. We work with a fixed daily schedule that provides peace and structure. The morning starts with bringing the children and discussing special matters with the pedagogical staff. Then we eat fresh fruit, after which the youngest ones go to sleep. When weather permits, we go outside; otherwise, we play indoors or read books. Around lunchtime, we eat sandwiches with self-chosen toppings together according to our nutrition policy. After the afternoon nap, we serve vegetable snacks and a cracker, after which we go outside again. The day ends with picking up the children. Through our parent app, you can check in on your child at childcare every day. We share photos and messages of daily activities, so you don't miss anything. We believe in learning through play and offer an active range of play materials and activities. Our buildings and outdoor spaces are carefully designed to challenge and stimulate children in their development.
