De Schaapskooi

Welcome to Christian Daycare De Schaapskooi, located at Kraaiennest 120 in Amsterdam Zuidoost. We are part of De Geschudde Maat and provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare is a warm, safe and familiar place where every child is allowed to develop in their own unique way. From our Christian foundation and inspired by God's love, we create a second home for your child. Our pedagogical staff are dedicated and well-trained. They give a lot of personal attention and ensure that your child can fully flourish. We believe that every child deserves a good start and guidance. Our core values are trust, love, relationship and appreciation. We pass these values on to the children in a playful way. We read not only from picture books, but also from the Bible. We do crafts around Christian themes such as Christmas and Easter. We pray together before meals and sing Christian children's songs. At De Schaapskooi everything is included: diapers, bread, drinks, fruit and other snacks. We have various play corners and play materials that provide variety on a daily basis. Learning and discovering through play is central. We work with pre-school education (VE) to properly prepare your child for primary school. We attach great importance to good contact with parents. Together with you, we try to contribute to positive parenting. There are regular contact moments to coordinate what your child is used to at home and how things are done in the group.
