Peuteropvang Groenezoom

De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location Vreewijkschool Groenezoom is located in the same building as primary school De Vreewijkschool at Groenezoom 156, Rotterdam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in two horizontal groups: the Ducks and the Frogs. Our location works closely with the primary school, making the transition from preschool to group 1 literally and figuratively small. We use the VVE programme of the municipality of Rotterdam. Themes such as “Wow, it’s hot” and “Sneezing in autumn” connect with the toddler’s world of experience and stimulate language, social-emotional, motor and sensory development. Learning through play is central: discovering, exploring and experimenting in a safe environment. We follow each child’s rhythm and work in a results-oriented way, so that every toddler progresses at his or her own pace. Our pedagogical staff build a relationship of trust with parents. We believe it is important that parents feel free to discuss questions and doubts. Together we ensure that every child gets a flying start and enters primary school with confidence.
