Welcome to De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location Stephanusschool, situated on the ground floor of the Stephanusschool at Asserweg 360 in Rotterdam-Schiebroek. We are a daycare centre (KDV) with 15 toddler places and are part of Stichting Peuter & Co. Children aged 2 to 4 play and learn with us in a safe, familiar environment. Our qualified staff provide a varied daily programme of singing, building, cycling, puzzling, running and reading aloud. We stimulate the senses and foster language, motor and social skills. Toddlers also learn to handle emotions and practise practical skills such as putting on a coat. Activities are tailored to each child’s developmental stage and take place both indoors and in our own garden. We work closely with the teachers of primary school Stephanus, making the transition to school smooth and familiar. Parents can choose half-day or full-day care. Fruit and drinks are included; special dietary needs can be discussed. Our rooms are safe and child-friendly and accessible only with a personal entry code.
