Peuteropvang Nicolaas

De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location Nicolaasschool, is located on the grounds of primary school Nicolaasschool at Schiedamseweg 227 in Rotterdam. As part of the Peuter & Co organization, we offer toddlers aged 2 to 4 a safe and familiar place where they are playfully prepared for primary school. We follow the pedagogical policy plan of Peuter & Co, which focuses on the development of the toddler. Our activities are designed to stimulate self-reliance, creativity, social skills and language development. We offer thematic play where toddlers learn to play and share together. Movement is an important part of our program: we go outside daily to play and move, allowing toddlers to develop their motor skills. The location works closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from toddler care to school. We offer pre-school education (VVE) and follow the Peuter & Co program, paying attention to language, math and social skills. Parents are actively involved in their child's development and can participate in parent meetings and activities. De Rotterdamse Peuterschool is not a traditional daycare center, but a development place where toddlers work in small groups on skills that are important for their future. We offer both morning and afternoon care, with parents having the flexibility to choose from different sessions.
