De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location De Kameleon Fazantstraat is a warm and safe preschool in the heart of Rotterdam-Charlois. We are located on the ground floor of primary school De Kameleon at Fazantstraat 105, allowing our toddlers to become familiar with the school environment from an early age. As part of Stichting Peuter & Co, we have been providing professional preschool care for children aged 2 to 4 years since 1996. With us, everything revolves around learning and development through play. We follow the Rotterdam education policy 'A flying start for every Rotterdam toddler', where we stimulate children to take steps in their development towards becoming independent, social and resilient members of society. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a familiar environment where every child can be themselves and where parents feel welcome. We offer care 5 half-days per week, with toddlers working in age-homogeneous groups. The intensive cooperation between our staff and the kindergarten teachers of De Kameleon ensures a smooth transition to group 1. Through play, children learn to interact with other children and adults, develop their language skills and work on their independence and self-reliance. Our location accommodates 15 toddlers and is specially designed to meet the developmental needs of this age group. We believe that parenting and supporting children in their development should primarily remain the responsibility of parents. Therefore, we see ourselves as a supplement to the home situation and offer toddlers extra developmental opportunities in a safe and structured environment.
