KDV De Proeftuin

Welcome to KDV De Proeftuin, a homely daycare centre run by KleurRijk Kinderopvang at Monteverdilaan 202 in Zwolle-Holtenbroek. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe environment that offers plenty of room to grow and explore. Everything we do revolves around rhythm, space and rituals. We follow each child’s natural pace and work from an ecological perspective: we look at the interplay between child, environment and development. Our baby/toddler group (0-2.5 years) focuses on discovering the body. Children are free to roll, grasp and feel, while songs and chats happen on a lap so your child feels the closeness and warmth of the practitioner. Play takes place both indoors and outdoors. We have a natural playground and a cosy group room with open-ended toys made from natural materials, encouraging imaginative and creative play. Outdoor sleeping is possible: in a special outdoor cot, sheltered from sun and wind, children can rest peacefully. We also go outside in rain or cold because movement and connection with the seasons matter to us. We work closely with parents and offer a place where your child feels at home. Our approach is inspired by Christian values: children are seen and heard and learn naturally how to take their place in the world. Preschool education (VVE) is part of our programme, giving your child a solid foundation through play.
