KDV De Princenhof

Welcome to KDV De Princenhof, our Christian day-care centre located at Prinsessenweg 2 in the heart of Leeuwarden. We are part of KleurRijk child-care and provide day-care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: a baby & toddler group (0-2 years) and a pre-school group (2-4 years). Our qualified staff believe every child is unique and give each child space to grow at their own pace. We offer a rich variety of activities: we sing and dance together, enjoy arts and crafts, and read aloud daily in our cosy reading corner. Outdoor play and nature experience are an important part of our day; our secure garden invites exploration and movement. Parents can rely on our complete all-in package: nappies, wipes, formula, healthy snacks and a warm, freshly prepared lunch are all included. We take allergies and special dietary needs into account. Each child has their own sleeping room or quiet corner, ensuring rest times are truly restful. Parents stay informed through our parent app. We also run KleurRijk Start, our own pre-school education programme, which introduces language and numeracy skills through play and prepares children for primary school.
