Stichting Kinderdagverblijf De Poppenzolder

The Poppenzolder is a small Utrecht daycare centre that provides full-day care for children from zero to four years old. We are located in a charming building at Janskerkhof 19D, right in the historic centre of Utrecht. Our team consists of four permanent, dedicated caregivers, all of whom have completed specialised vocational or higher education and hold a first aid certificate. We operate with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This approach stimulates social development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older ones. Our pedagogical approach focuses on providing a safe and familiar environment where every child can develop optimally. At De Poppenzolder, we believe it's important for children to spend plenty of time outdoors. We regularly use nearby playgrounds and parks in the city. Even the youngest children get sufficient fresh air and can go on discovery trips in nature. We offer flexible childcare options, allowing parents to choose between half or full days. Our opening hours are tailored to meet the needs of working parents in Utrecht city centre.
