KDV De Petteflet

Kinderdagverblijf De Petteflet is located at a quiet spot on Jagerspad 4 in Driebergen-Rijsenburg and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang SKDD. We are a small-scale daycare centre with four cosy home groups where children aged 0 to 4 are cared for in a familiar, homely atmosphere. The baby group welcomes children up to about 2 years old; afterwards they move on to the toddler group where new challenges await. Our spacious discovery garden and adjoining play hall invite children to play and explore every day. We deliberately keep our groups small so that every child is truly seen and has room to grow at his or her own pace. Movement and music are central to our activities: singing, dancing and sports together give children successful experiences and stimulate their development in a playful way. Even the youngest ones are introduced to music through play. We work with a clear pedagogical plan built around our core values: warmth, security, challenge and structure. Fixed pedagogical staff guide each home group so that children always see familiar faces and have a safe attachment figure. Cooperation with the neighbouring Dalton school and the child health clinic is excellent; short lines make shared celebrations and activities possible. De Petteflet is open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, except on official holidays and one inspiration day.
