Welcome to de Meikevertjes, our fresh, bright and playful toddler care location at Meidoornstraat 115 in Breda. We are part of Kober, a social childcare organization that has been active in West-Brabant for over 40 years. With us, toddlers aged 2 to 4 can play, discover and develop in a familiar environment. Our location is specially designed for toddlers. The spaces are fresh, bright and playfully designed, making children feel at home immediately. We work with small groups, ensuring personal attention for each child. Our pedagogical staff are experienced professionals who understand how important this phase is in a child's development. They guide children in a playful way as they discover the world around them. A day at de Meikevertjes is filled with activities that match the developmental stage of toddlers. We sing songs together, make music and read from our book collection. Creative activities such as crafting with color and form are also on the program. There is also plenty of room for movement: we build with blocks, do gymnastics and make trips in the immediate vicinity. Our pedagogical employee Sofia says: "Toddlers are curious, a perfect moment to get acquainted with colors and shapes in a playful way." We offer both morning and afternoon care, where parents can flexibly choose what best suits their situation. During care moments, we provide a healthy lunch and drinks. Our approach is aimed at preparing children for primary school through play, using preschool education (VVE) programs. At de Meikevertjes, we value personal contact. When dropping off and picking up, there is always time for a chat about your child's experiences. We are a familiar environment with familiar faces, where your child can safely develop at his or her own pace.
