KDV De Kunstenaars

Welcome to KDV De Kunstenaars, a warm and small-scale daycare centre that is part of Saffana’s Kindercentrum, located at Ermelopad 3 in Almere Stad. We provide care for up to ten children aged 0 to 4, allowing us to truly honour each child’s individual developmental rhythm. Our pedagogical staff work from a holistic vision: every child is unique and possesses their own talents. We look beyond background or origin and celebrate the diversity within our group. At De Kunstenaars, discovery is key. We encourage children through sport, art, culture and nature. Think of singing and making music, toddler dance sessions, painting and crafting in our creative corner, as well as gardening in the vegetable patch and adventures in the natural playground. We use the VVE Pyramid method, so preschoolers can practise language and numeracy skills through play. For the very youngest we offer baby gym, while toddlers enjoy story time and simple games that stimulate both gross and fine motor skills. Our spaces are bright, calm and homely, furnished with wooden furniture and age-appropriate toys. We believe a safe and secure environment is essential: children need to feel emotionally and physically at ease. That is why only committed pedagogical staff work here, who receive continuous training. Warm, fresh and healthy meals are served daily; we take allergies and dietary requirements into account. Nappies, wipes, formula and care products are also included, so you as a parent can delegate worry-free.
