De Krentenmik

Welcome to De Krentenmik, the daycare centre of IKC Het Spectrum located at Hofsingel 74 in Vlaardingen. We provide full-day care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and homely environment. Our 92 childcare places are organised in horizontal age groups, allowing children to move up step by step as they grow. At De Krentenmik we work from one shared vision: letting children grow up through play, discovery and development. We do this on our green playground and in our cosy group rooms. Through play we stimulate the broad development of every child. We offer development-oriented activities and games that connect with the world of experience of young children. Our daycare centre is part of UN1EK kinderopvang B.V., an organisation that provides education and childcare in one continuous line for children from 0 to 13 years. From one vision, one mission and one organisation we ensure a familiar environment where children feel safe and secure. We work closely with the primary school within the same Integral Child Centre, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. We believe it is important that children are given the space to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to contribute to a warm and stimulating environment. Together with parents we ensure that every child can develop optimally.
