Kindercentrum De Krentebloesem

Kindercentrum De Krentebloesem in Rotterdam is a small-scale daycare centre operated by Berkien & van Karsen. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into a baby group (0–2 years) and a toddler group (2–4 years). Our location at Kamillestraat 30 has a homely atmosphere where every child is made to feel safe and at home. We follow an anthroposophical vision, which means we see each child as a unique individual who develops at their own pace. Calm, rhythm and familiarity are central to our daily routine. We place great value on outdoor play, as being outside is essential to us—whether the sun is shining, it is cloudy, or there is a light drizzle. Nature offers endless stimuli for imagination and motor skills. Each day we serve a warm, organic and vegetarian meal. This allows children to discover different tastes and enjoy healthy food. Our spaces are carefully designed with warm colours, natural materials and a layout that invites play and exploration. Our small team of dedicated pedagogical staff ensures short lines of communication and personal contact with parents. Kindercentrum De Krentebloesem has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 4 May 2017 under number 130380131. We meet all national quality requirements and are supervised by the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. Parents can apply for childcare allowance for our services.
