KDV De Kosmos

Kinderdagverblijf De Kosmos has been a trusted address for parents in Leusden for many years. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment at Prins Clausplein 6. Our daycare center is part of Stichting Humankind and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since March 1, 2011 under number 188675814. At De Kosmos, children grow up in an environment with materials that inspire wonder. The foundation of every discovery and learning is curiosity. Our pedagogical staff provide a challenging play and activity program daily, focusing primarily on having fun. We do this, among other things, with Wiskids, the learning method developed by Humankind, and the mini library we have set up on location. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We work with horizontal age groups, allowing us to better respond to the specific needs of babies up to one and a half to two years old and toddlers from two to four years old. For children who will soon turn 4, we can provide bridging care if they cannot immediately attend primary school. Language development, social skills, and motor development are central to our program. We offer preschool education (VVE) and pay great attention to the individual development of each child. Parents can use our parent portal to stay informed about their child's development. At De Kosmos, we believe it is important that children feel safe and secure so they can develop optimally. We create a warm and stimulating environment where children can play, discover, and grow.
