Welcome to de Knuffelbeer – Kempenaer, our homely toddler day-care located in community centre De Kempenaer at Dr Wumkeslaan 4, Heerenveen. We run a small-scale horizontal toddler group for children aged 2 to 4. Recently we introduced a VVE programme in which ‘Bas in de klas’, together with his friends Tyme the bear and Tomke, playfully guides the children in language, numeracy and social skills. Each morning or afternoon centres on a new theme with matching vocabulary, songs and discovery tasks. The children also learn their first Frisian words from Tomke. Our qualified staff provide a safe, loving environment where curiosity and creativity are encouraged. We follow fixed daily routines, quiet moments and plenty of outdoor play in the centre’s playground. Feel free to visit and see how we help your toddler grow and flourish!
