KDV De Kleine Prins

KDV De Kleine Prins is located at Nuenenseweg 6 in Eindhoven, within SPILcentrum De Sterren. As part of Stichting ISTIA, we provide small-scale daycare based on anthroposophical principles. We operate two vertical groups for children aged 0 to 4 years, focusing on each child's natural development. Our location is nestled in greenery, directly opposite the beautiful Eckart forest. This woodland environment serves as our extended playground: we regularly walk there, explore the seasons, and use the school vegetable garden for gardening activities with the children. Indoors, we create a homely atmosphere with natural materials, wooden toys and soft fabrics. The baby corner is separately screened with a protective fabric canopy, where rest and security are paramount. The daily rhythm follows a fixed structure of singing, playing, eating and resting. We celebrate seasonal festivals with appropriate songs, games and activities. Children participate in bread baking, painting and crafts. Our organic meals and snacks contribute to healthy development. The toddler groups (2 years 3 months to 4 years) operate in two core groups: Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday, with optional Wednesday mornings from age 3. We believe children develop best in a safe, secure environment with consistent rhythms and personal attention.
