KDV de Kindertuin Bellettsa is a small-scale daycare center located in the Heugemerveld district of Maastricht at Kardinaal van Rossumplein 99. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and peaceful environment. Our daycare center has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 291127289 since August 16, 2021. At De Kindertuin, we work from a pedagogical vision that centers on rhythm, rest, and repetition. The interior is homely and warm, with soft colors that radiate security and safety. We believe in the power of natural materials - our toys are made of wool, cotton, and wood, contributing to a serene and natural play environment for young children. Our approach is inspired by anthroposophical educational principles. We work with imitation, where children learn by imitating what they see around them. Daily, we offer stories, rhymes, and songs that stimulate imagination and language development. There is much attention to rhythm in the day - fixed moments for playing, eating, sleeping, and being outside - which gives children structure and security. The group is vertically composed, with children of different ages playing and learning together. This setup stimulates social development and ensures that younger children learn from older children, while older children learn to be caring. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM. KDV de Kindertuin Bellettsa is part of Stichting ISTIA, an organization with over 25 years of experience in childcare. We are known for our personal approach and involvement with both children and parents.
