KDV De Kersentuin

Welcome to KDV De Kersentuin in Elst, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Arnhem en Regio (SKAR). We provide a homely and safe environment where children aged 0 to 4 can develop at their own pace. Our location at Morel 28 features a vertical group for up to 12 children and a toddler group for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. The vertical group means children of different ages play and learn together, creating a natural and stimulating group dynamic. Our professional childcare staff are ready to give each child personal attention. We believe it is important for children to feel safe and at home with us. That is why we work with fixed core groups and familiar faces, so a trusted bond develops between child and caregiver. We offer a varied daily programme that connects with the world of young children, with plenty of room for rest, play and discovery. Outside, we have a fantastic natural play area where children can romp, explore and play in the fresh air. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor activities, because we believe in the positive influence of outdoor play on children's development. The toddler group works with fixed half-day combinations, creating a calm and clear daily structure for the children. We value good communication with parents. We regularly discuss how your child is doing and tailor our care and activities to your child's needs. You are always welcome to come and take a look and meet our location and approach in person.
