Peuterleerplek De Hummelhoek is located at Withuysstraat 2 in The Hague and forms part of Kindcentrum Kosmos together with Dr. J.A. Gerth van Wijkschool and childcare centre David Dak. We welcome children aged 2½ to 4 years and provide sessions on two mornings and two afternoons each week. Our mission is to prepare your child for primary school through play-based learning. We follow the recognised ‘Puk & Ko’ curriculum, which focuses on language, numeracy, independence, music and arts & crafts. All activities are tailored to the world of toddlers and are delivered by our qualified pedagogical staff: Arti, Derya, Gul, Miranda and Sharda. Together with parents we ensure every child develops to their full potential. Every preschool playgroup within JongLeren works closely with a primary school. By choosing De Hummelhoek you also choose a seamless transition to Dr. J.A. Gerth van Wijkschool. Our setting has four groups with fixed session times, giving your child a reassuring daily rhythm.
