KDV De Hoeksteen

Welcome to KDV De Hoeksteen, part of Christian Childcare KleurRijk at Kindcentrum De Hoeksteen, located at Burg Malcorpslaan 101 in Hasselt. We provide small-scale, Christian daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group with a maximum of 16 children per day. Our daycare operates from a clear Christian identity. Our pedagogical staff embrace the vision and working method of KleurRijk: we have a heart for children and aim to pass on Christian norms and values while letting them experience God's love. We pray with the children, listen to and sing Christian children's music, read from the Bible, and celebrate Christian holidays. The intensive collaboration with primary school De Hoeksteen is evident in our choices, such as the books we read and our approach to behavior. We offer a homely, cozy atmosphere where children can be themselves and quickly feel at home. Every day we try to go outside; we have a large playground with many play opportunities. Attention and enjoyment are important principles: there is room to play freely and we also focus on a fixed daily routine and appropriate activity program. We work with a permanent team of 11 pedagogical professionals who ensure responsible and safe childcare with quality, small-scale care, and a warm atmosphere. For communication with parents, we use the Konnect parent portal, available through a convenient app. KDV De Hoeksteen guarantees care on the days you work, with flexible options and a continuous learning line that seamlessly connects to the primary education of Kindcentrum De Hoeksteen.
