KDV De Hoek Op Stoom

KDV De Hoek Op Stoom is located at Plantsoenlaan 2 in the heart of Zwanenburg and is part of the Op Stoom childcare organisation. At this location we provide care for up to 53 children aged 0 to 4 years. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 940815370 since 1 January 2010. We work with two vertical groups, which means babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. We see that the older children are proud and caring towards the little ones; they love to help with a bottle or offer comfort when something is difficult. The youngest children watch wide-eyed and develop rapidly through everything they experience. In this way they grow up together in one warm, homely community. Our spaces are cosy and inviting. Think soft carpet where tiny feet or tummies can safely explore, play corners that effortlessly transform into a train, restaurant or construction site, and a garden that invites running, balancing, mud-kitchen adventures or quietly watching the clouds in both fair and less fair weather. We value the process more than the result: children are free to choose, experiment and enjoy their own pace. We communicate with parents through the web portal and Parent App from Konnect. This keeps you fully informed about what your child has experienced and allows us to hear what is going on at home. Together we ensure that every child feels safe, seen and valued.
