KDV de Eendragt

Welcome to KDV de Eendragt, our daycare centre in the heart of Zuid-Beijerland. Since 1 November 2020 we have been part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Eendragt at Johan Berkstraat 31. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Everything we do revolves around a safe, familiar environment in which every child can develop at his or her own pace. Our daycare works with a minimum of two half-days per week (one half-day is 5.25 hours), so children have enough time and rest to get used to our team and to each other. We use horizontal groups: separate baby and toddler groups that match the specific needs of each age phase. Within these groups we offer pre-school education (VE), stimulating language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Together we work towards a smooth transition to primary school. KDV de Eendragt is part of Stichting De Hoeksche School Kinderopvang and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 856602383. Our pedagogical staff form one team with the teachers of primary school De Eendragt. This creates one continuous developmental line from 0 to 12 years, with parents having one point of contact: our director Rika van Swieten. We believe it is important that every child, regardless of cultural background or home situation, feels welcome with us.
