KDV de Duizendpoot

Welcome to KDV de Duizendpoot, located at Hubertusstraat 18 in the centre of Echt. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Echt-Susteren, Maasgouw and provide daycare for up to 54 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre works closely with primary schools Patricius, Violier and Op de Slek, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition into primary education. At de Duizendpoot, playing with joy is at the heart of everything we do. Children are encouraged to colour outside the lines and discover their own boundaries. We surround children with our talent so that we can develop theirs. Our qualified pedagogical staff offer a safe, homely environment where every child is given space to grow and flourish at their own pace. We operate vertical groups, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. This setup stimulates social development and allows the youngest to learn from the older children. For language development we use the Early Childhood Education programme Speelplezier. Language is woven into everything: during story time, when naming daily routines and during play. In this playful way we prepare children for primary school. Outside there is a spacious garden with play equipment and green corners. In good weather we spend lots of time outdoors, allowing children to run, explore and enjoy fresh air. Inside, the rooms are bright and inviting, with quiet sleeping areas and challenging play corners. Our opening hours are 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
