KDV de Dirigent

Childcare Tjil! de Dirigent is a warm, small-scale location in the heart of Tilburg-Noord. We provide care for up to 15 children aged 1 to 4 years in one vertical group. Our space is located in the multifunctional building MFA de Dirigent, which also houses primary schools De Regenboog and Aboe el-Chayr. This unique setting allows us to regularly collaborate with the schools and organize joint activities. In this way, children become familiar with the school environment at an early age, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Our pedagogical staff closely follow each child's development using the observation system 'Kijk'. We are a VVE (pre- and early school education) location, which means we provide early childhood education for all children from the age of 2. We do this, among other things, with the Uk & Puk program, in which we playfully work on language, numeracy and social skills. We also use supporting gestures from Gebarenstem to stimulate communication. Outdoor play is just as important to us as indoor activities. We have a large, safe garden where children can romp, discover and play with natural materials. The garden offers plenty of space for movement and imaginative play. We believe it is important that children grow up in a familiar environment, where each child is given the space to develop at his or her own pace. In addition to daycare, we also offer a toddler facility for children aged 2 to 4 years. This toddler facility is ideal as preparation for primary school and is available for both working and non-working parents. We operate 40 weeks per year from 08:30 to 14:00. For parents who need longer care, it is possible to combine the toddler facility with our daycare until 18:00 at the latest.
