De Buut

Welcome to De Buut, a daycare centre located in the Nijmegen-Oost district at Hugo de Grootstraat 41. We are part of the De Buut child centre, which brings together daycare, after-school care and primary school under one roof. This unique collaboration creates a warm, familiar environment where children aged 0 to 4 can develop safely and securely. Our pedagogical staff from KION guide your child step by step in their development. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This setup stimulates social skills and gives the youngest the chance to learn from the older children, while the toddlers are proud of their role as 'big brother or sister'. De Buut has a rich garden fully designed for nature experience. Here children can explore, climb, clamber, swing or just romp around. We believe it is important for children to play outside a lot and experience nature up close. Inside, we offer different corners where children can build, craft, read or play quietly. The spaces are bright, safe and invitingly furnished. We work closely with parents and believe open communication is essential. Through our parent portal, you will regularly receive photos and reports of your child's experiences. We also organise parent meetings and informal moments to meet each other. Together, we ensure that your child can develop optimally in an environment that feels like a second home.
