KDV de Boomhut

Welcome to KDV de Boomhut, our small-scale daycare centre located at Bachstraat 47 in the heart of Elst. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Arnhem en Regio (SKAR) and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. In our two vertical groups, babies from 6 weeks and toddlers up to 4 years grow up together. This setup offers the youngest ones peace and recognition, while older toddlers learn to take each other into account and discover their talents at their own pace. Safety, security and challenge are at the heart of everything we do. We read aloud, sing songs, play games and do arts and crafts with a wide range of materials. The end result is not what matters; enjoyment and discovery are central. Our spacious, natural garden invites outdoor play and stimulates your child’s curiosity. Routine and regularity are important, so we follow a fixed daily rhythm and provide each child with a clean, individual bed for naps. Health and hygiene are essential to us. We work daily with a professional cleaner, disinfect changing tables after every nappy change and ensure that toys and furniture remain clean. A sick child belongs at home, so that all children stay healthy and can develop optimally. Nutrition is also taken care of: we serve healthy meals, fruit and snacks and take allergies or special dietary requirements into account. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff knows your child and you. We believe that raising a child is something you do together and therefore invite parents to share their thoughts and discuss their child’s development.
